Ukrainian Home Attendant receives $295,000 after suffering in a Trip & Fall Accident

A 75 year old retired French teacher turned home attendant, tripped and fell over a raised sidewalk flagstone in Brooklyn. After seeing an orthopedist she heard of, she was scheduled for left elbow surgery.

Brooklynite Receives Over a Million Dollar Settlement for Ladder Collapse

A 35 year old laborer doing duct work on a Manhattan property suffered a fall from a 10 feet A-frame ladder. The magnitude of the fall caused fractures of the thigh bone and left thumb. The fall was caused by a duct which swung down prematurely, knocking the ladder and causing A.R to lose his balance. A.R did his best to counterbalance the ladder but could not prevent himself from falling. A.R screamed for help and EMS took him to the Emergency Room and he awoke after surgery which included rods and screws. A.R spent the following months needing a walker to get around.

70 Year Old Panama Native Entering Parking Spot In Front of Her Home Rear-Ended By Private Bus Receives $185,000 Settlement for Pain and Suffering

R.K., a 70 year old retired medical laboratory technologist, was rear-ended by a private bus as she entered a parking spot in front of her home, resulting in an injury to her shoulder. The force of the impact pushed her vehicle forward approximately 5 houses, and caused the bus that hit her to jump the curb in front of her neighbor’s home.

G. Hunte, a 33 year old Department of Sanitation worker suffered an injury to his right foot after tripping and falling in the Department of Sanitation parking lot. Man Settles Case for Trip and Fall Which Occurred at a Department of Sanitation Garage

A.H., a Department of Sanitation employee living in Staten Island, suffered back injuries following a fall at a Department of Sanitation garage. A.H. was coming back from fueling his truck, when he was tripped up by a section of the garage which had a defective floor.
