Mexican Deliveryman Living In Queens Receives $175,000 Settlement for Fractured Ankle

Queens Car Accident VictimJose Malagas was injured when he and his co-worker were sideswiped by an ice cream truck while they were driving on the Long Island Expressway in their company’s delivery truck. Mr. Malagas was seated in the passenger seat, and upon impact, his seat came loose. His legs were trapped, and firemen had to use the Jaws of Life to extricate him from the car. Mr. Malagas fractured his ankle.

Queens Resident Recovers Generous Settlement for Ankle Fracture on the Job

J, a 33-year-old Queens resident, fractured his left ankle when he stepped in a hole on a construction sight that was being negligently maintained. As a result, J was unable to work for four months and his employer eventually laid him off.

Broken Sidewalk Slip and Fall

She fell on a broken sidewalk, and Hill & Moin LLP got compensation from her building owners.

M.P. from Elmhurst, NY, 57, fell when she tripped on a broken sidewalk outside of her apartment building while walking with her son.  The fall resulted in a fracture in her left ankle, which required a cast and medical treatment.
