V.S. moved to the United States from Belarus. He made a living supporting himself and his family by working as a welder. On the date of the accident, V.S. was working on a ladder while doing electrical welding. As V.S. was standing on the wobbly ladder looking up toward the pipe his assistant was holding above him – V.S. saw that the pipe was dropping and coming toward his direction. He tried to prevent getting hit and injured by the pipe, but the shaky ladder and the worker fell. He underwent shoulder and wrist surgeries.

Father of Four is Thankful for Settlement Compensating Him for His Back and Shoulder Injuries

D.H., originally from Jamaica, a self-employed driver and technician transporting and repairing various medical supplies, was injured while out on one of his assigned jobs. After exiting the client’s building, D.H. slipped and fell on a clear patch of ice on the sidewalk. The trip and fall resulted in D.H. sustaining injuries to his shoulder, lower back and his elbow.

$500,000 Settlement Reached for a Woman Who Fell Down the Stairs and Twisted Her Ankle

While S.B., a Russian woman who worked as a personal home cleaner, was walking to a nearby store, she decided to take a short cut through the Naples Terrace Staircase. As she attempted to walk down the dimly lit exterior staircase, she tripped and fell down the stairs which directly resulted in her badly twisting and injuring her left ankle.

Pakistani Man Will Open Business Due To $450,000 Medical Malpractice Settlement Obtained by Hill & Moin

M.B., a middle-aged Pakistani man who worked as a taxi driver, went to his doctor’s office to request a refill for his medication. After complaining of arm pain and having an abnormal EKG result, the doctor’s office gave M.B. medication which caused him to become dizzy, lose consciousness and fall. The fall directly resulted in M.B. injuring his neck and back.

Construction Worker Injured When Front Two Legs of Ladder Collapse, Receives $500,000 Compensation

Papaleo, a laborer who was working on a large renovation project, turning an old school into an apartment building, was injured when the front two legs of the A-frame ladder he was using collapsed with him on it. Though it was a large project, when Papaleo arrived to the jobsite, there were a limited number of ladders available to him. He took the last one and set it up to start working. Everything seemed to be in decent working order, until the ladder collapsed from under him because it was defective. Papaleo sustained injuries to his left shoulder as a result of the fall.

22 year-old Hasidic Medical Secretary Praises Hill & Moin’s Diligent Work In Obtaining Excellent Settlement After She Was Struck by a Vehicle

On the day of the accident, the weather was nice so C.H. decided to go outside and do some shopping in the morning. C.H. walked up the street and waited for the pedestrian walk signal after reaching an intersection that would permit her to cross the street and continue on her way. When the signal changed, C.H. made sure to look both ways before proceeding to cross the street. All of a sudden, a car that was supposed to be waiting at the red light was driving towards her at a high speed. With no signs of it slowing down, C.H. attempted to step back but unfortunately, she did not have enough time to move out of the way.
