Roberto Marin, a 51-year-old construction worker was badly injured after falling down a flight of steps while on the job. The Worker’s Compensation checks would never compensate him for the injury he sustained and the pain he would continue to suffer. Mr. Marin knew he could not sue his employer. However, his Worker’s Compensation attorney told him that New York State has special labor laws that protect construction workers on the job. Therefore Mr. Marin sought the assistance of the third-party attorney’s, Hill & Moin, LLP. Once a strong individual, Mr. Marin has not been able to go back to work since this terrible accident.
