Brooklyn Construction Company Manager in Two Car Collision Praises Hill & Moin for Obtaining Compensation for His Left Hand and Wrist Injuries.

Y. G was on his way to pick up his young children from camp one day and was traveling some distance from Brooklyn to Upstate New York. He was obeying all traffic laws, driving relatively with no traffic in his way when he was hit by another vehicle exiting a gas station. In this head-on collision, Y.G. injured his left hand and wrist. The injuries required surgery and physical therapy and unfortunately, Y.G suffers discomfort to this very day because of the injuries. In fact, for Y.G., typing at the computer is harder now and he cannot attend the gym and do exercise boxing and body building anymore. (more…)

Citi Bike Cyclist Struck By Parking Cab Rides Off With Great Settlement

On a nice and cool summer day, Mr. Amengual-Terrasa had some time left to kill before reporting to work at NYU Langone Medical School. He decided to take a Citi Bike for a casual ride. While in the bike lane, a cab attempting to park struck the bicyclist. Upon realizing this, the cab driver attempted to drive off and struck two more pedestrians before hitting a wall. As a result of this accident, Mr. Amengual-Terrasa suffered a fractured heel on his left foot. He was no longer able to partake in his favorite activities including, of course, bike riding. (more…)

Attorney gets Hit by a Car and Runs Away with a $500,000 Settlement

When the light changed, she stepped into the cross walk. Suddenly, she saw a green cab approaching her. She froze, expecting the car to stop since she had the right of way. However, E.K. heard no horn, no brakes, and saw no brake lights. The middle of the driver’s front bumper slammed into E.K.’s knee, throwing her straight back onto the concrete. “Worker Falls into Collapsed Floor, Lands on $975,000 Settlement”

D.J. is a loving father who works as a manager in urban property. While performing his daily tasks, and walking through the facility, he suddenly felt the floor collapse from under his legs. D.J. was falling through the floor. However, he was able to stop himself from falling all the way through by catching the unbroken floor. J.D. was only able to be rescued once he called for a co-worker to pull him back onto solid ground. J.D. was taken from the scene by ambulance to a local hospital.

Hardworking Plumber of 17 years Receives $500,000 Settlement after Air Compressor Fell on Foot At Construction Site

New York construction accident attorneysGlenn S. worked as a plumber for 17 years. While on the job, he and a coworker were moving a 2-foot air compressor on a pallet jack. The coworker guided the pallet jack into debris which caused the compressor to fall off and onto Glenn S.’s left foot. This accident resulted in Glenn S. sustaining three fractures in his left ankle. Due to his injuries, Glenn S. was no longer able to work and had to undergo both surgery and physical therapy.
