Bronx Woman Who Slips and Falls on Wet Stairs Inside Her Apartment Building Receives $250,000 Settlement for Pain and Suffering

Brooklyn Resident And Ukraine Native Receives Substantial Settlement Following Trip and Fall On A Defective Brooklyn Sidewalk

New York Slip and Fall AttorneysWhile walking to church with her husband, G.L., a native of the Ukraine, was caused to trip and fall due to a defective condition on a Brooklyn sidewalk. Despite her initial attempt to continue walking with her husband, G.L. had no choice but to visit the emergency room at Beth Israel Hospital. 76 Year Old Russian Woman Injured During Blackout Caused by Storm at Camp for World War II Survivors in Upstate New York

R.A., a 76 year old Russian woman, and World War II survivor, was spending time at Berkshire Hills Emanuel Camp/Adult Vacation Center. A large storm was approaching, and as common practice for the camp, they shut down all electricity. The camp would usually provide patrons with candles, but on this night did not. R.A. awoke from her sleep to use the restroom, and in the darkness, tripped and fell over a rug.  As a result of her trip and fall on the bathroom rug, R.A. suffered a fracture of the left wrist.

62 Year Old Ghanaian Man Slips and Falls Down Staircase While Working at SOHO Boutique Receives $250,000 Settlement

D., a 62 year old Brooklyn resident, originally from Ghana was working as a security guard in an upscale SOHO boutique in New York City, when he suffered a wrist injury due to a slip and fall accident. It was Mr. D’s first day on the job, when he slipped on wet stairs and was unable to grab the defective handrail, which were constructed with a gap between the 2 sets of stairs. Mr. D plunged down approximately 25 steps, and broke his wrist.
