Dedicated Home Attendant with Knee Injury Receives a $500,000 Settlement After Falling on Sidewalk.

A.S., an Armenian woman who had been working as a home care attendant for over a decade, had just left one of her client’s homes and was on her way to her next client’s home on a wintery January morning. While walking there she noticed some ice had formed on the sidewalk. While attempting to avoid stepping on the ice, A.S tripped and fell on the unleveled concrete slab of the sidewalk. A.S.’s doctors informed her that she had torn her meniscus.

$500,000 Settlement Reached for a Woman Who Fell Down the Stairs and Twisted Her Ankle

While S.B., a Russian woman who worked as a personal home cleaner, was walking to a nearby store, she decided to take a short cut through the Naples Terrace Staircase. As she attempted to walk down the dimly lit exterior staircase, she tripped and fell down the stairs which directly resulted in her badly twisting and injuring her left ankle.

Pakistani Man Will Open Business Due To $450,000 Medical Malpractice Settlement Obtained by Hill & Moin

M.B., a middle-aged Pakistani man who worked as a taxi driver, went to his doctor’s office to request a refill for his medication. After complaining of arm pain and having an abnormal EKG result, the doctor’s office gave M.B. medication which caused him to become dizzy, lose consciousness and fall. The fall directly resulted in M.B. injuring his neck and back.

Young Working Mother Suffers Broken Elbow After a Slip and Fall on an Icy Manhattan Sidewalk and Receives $300,000 Settlement

As K.P., a legal secretary and mother of two young children, was casually walking on a New York City sidewalk enjoying her lunch break and running some errands when she slipped and fell on a sheet of ice. She landed on both of her elbows and was rushed to the hospital. At the hospital her arm was casted and was told she would need surgery to repair her broken elbow.
