W.M, an undocumented Ecuadorian native, was working on a two bedroom renovation project. While removing an interior door frame he was standing on a ladder, using a grinder to cut at the wood. New York Ladder Accident AttorneysA 35 year old laborer doing duct work on a Manhattan property suffered a fall from a 10 feet A-frame ladder. The magnitude of the fall caused fractures of the thigh bone and left thumb. The fall was caused by a duct which swung down prematurely, knocking the ladder and causing A.R to lose his balance. A.R did his best to counterbalance the ladder but could not prevent himself from falling. A.R screamed for help and EMS took him to the Emergency Room and he awoke after surgery which included rods and screws. A.R spent the following months needing a walker to get around.

Russian Painter Falls From Ladder And Receives Settlement Greater Than Half Million Dollars

In the summer of 2014, Mr. R was seriously injured while painting and doing maintenance work at a New York summer camp. While painting the roof of a camp building, Mr. R fell from an unsafe ladder and suffered multiple injuries, including a fractured vertebrae and medial meniscal tears to his right and left knees, which later required surgeries.
