$500,000 Settlement Reached For Bronx Woman Who Fell Down Stairs and Twisted Ankle

While S.B., a Russian woman who worked as a personal home cleaner, was walking to a nearby store, she decided to take a short cut through the exterior Naples Terrace Staircase. As she attempted to walk down the dimly lit unsafe exterior staircase, she tripped and fell down the stairs which directly resulted in her badly twisting and injuring her left ankle.

While teaching her children to cook during a Valentine’s Day dinner, D.G. injured her left shoulder after slipping on water that leaked from the ceiling. Despite prior complaints to her building’s management, the leaky plumbing was not repaired, and a puddle formed inside her home.
