$500,000 Settlement Reached For Bronx Woman Who Fell Down Stairs and Twisted Ankle
May 31st, 2019
While S.B., a Russian woman who worked as a personal home cleaner, was walking to a nearby store, she decided to take a short cut through the exterior Naples Terrace Staircase. As she attempted to walk down the dimly lit unsafe exterior staircase, she tripped and fell down the stairs which directly resulted in her badly twisting and injuring her left ankle.
After being disappointed with the prior attorneys on her case, S.B. was referred by another attorney to Hill & Moin, LLP. The case turned around once Hill & Moin took over her representation. She truly appreciated the friendly staff and being able to easily communicate with staff that was fluent in her native Russian language. Thanks to the dedicated work of the attorneys at Hill & Moin, S.B. received a settlement of $500,000.
Now that S.B. has this issue behind her, she plans on using her settlement funds to purchase a new apartment!
