Brooklyn Resident And Ukraine Native Receives Substantial Settlement Following Trip and Fall On A Defective Brooklyn Sidewalk
April 6th, 2017
While walking to church with her husband, G.L., a native of the Ukraine, was caused to trip and fall due to a defective condition on a Brooklyn sidewalk. Despite her initial attempt to continue walking with her husband, G.L. had no choice but to visit the emergency room at Beth Israel Hospital. At the hospital, it was determined that G.L. suffered a fracture to her left wrist and surgery would be required.
Because G.L. only speaks Russian, she was extremely pleased to find how easy it was for her to communicate with the staff at Hill & Moin. Upon receiving a substantial settlement check at the resolution of her lawsuit, G.L. expressed her gratitude, stating “everyone at Hill & Moin was very professional, polite and helpful.” G.L. went on to say that she “couldn’t have been happier with everyone in the office” and that she would “absolutely recommend Hill and Moin to anyone involved in a similar incident.” G.L. was especially grateful for the Russian speaking paralegals at Hill and Moin and thanked them profusely at the conclusion of her case.
With her settlement check in hand, G.L shared her desire to do something nice for her grandchildren and couldn’t help but smiling while she shared her plans for the future.
