102 Year-Old Russian Woman Who Tripped and Fell on Construction Hazard Outside Assisted Living Facility Awarded Six Figures

December 17th, 2012

Yury Frolov’s mother, a resident at a Queens nursing home and assisted living facility, was out for her daily walk when she tripped on a construction hazard in front of the assisted living facility and fell, suffering a fractured right hip that required surgery.

Fortunately for her, Yury was referred to Hill & Moin, LLP. He immediately felt welcomed by the firm, and was pleased with the amount of service and attention his mother received. Due to her injury and age, it was extremely difficult for his mother to leave the nursing home, which Hill & Moin ensured she never had to do. Being able to testify while in the comfort of her nursing home helped her to feel calm and relaxed throughout her deposition.

Yury and his mother were able to rely on Hill & Moin’s Russian speaking staff to explain the steps of her lawsuit, and were grateful for the time spent ensuring their understanding of the litigation. Because Hill & Moin took the legal burden off her, she was able to focus simply on her recovery and physical therapy. They are happy with her settlement and would undoubtedly refer Hill & Moin to anyone in a similar position!
