Self-employed Housekeeper Suffers Fracture of the Spine After a Fall on Ice En Route to a Client’s Home

December 12th, 2015

J. Rodriguez, a self-employed Manhattan housekeeper, was on her way to a client’s home, when she slipped on ice on Eastern Parkway in Brooklyn, NY. Ms. Rodriguez was rushed from the scene by ambulance to Methodist Hospital, where just three days later, she underwent spinal surgery.

Once Ms. Rodriguez realized the gravity of her injury, she called Hill & Moin, LLP. Upon hearing everything that she went through, Hill & Moin rushed to the hospital to meet with her. From day one, Hill & Moin was at Ms. Rodriguez’s side, making sure that all her questions were answered completely and concisely. Ms. Rodriguez states, “Hill & Moin staff was extremely attentive to my needs and questions, and always had good advice.”

Hill & Moin was happy to have helped Ms. Rodriguez obtain a settlement at mediation that she can now use to, as she put it, “buy herself a little roof”. Our happy client knows hat with winter approaching, anyone who falls on ice and is injured, should call Hill & Moin, LLP to help win his or her case!
