70 Year Old Panama Native Entering Parking Spot In Front of Her Home Rear-Ended By Private Bus Receives $185,000 Settlement for Pain and Suffering

December 23rd, 2017

R.K., a 70 year old retired medical laboratory technologist, was rear-ended by a private bus as she entered a parking spot in front of her home, resulting in an injury to her shoulder. The force of the impact pushed her vehicle forward approximately 5 houses, and caused the bus that hit her to jump the curb in front of her neighbor’s home.

In 2015, Cheryl Eisberg Moin and Melisande Hill had the pleasure of meeting R.K. to discuss her potential matter. Upon reviewing the facts of her case, it was clear she had no fault in the accident, and R.K. retained Hill & Moin, LLP as her attorneys. A little over 2 years later, Hill & Moin was pleased to present R.K. with a settlement of $185,000 for her future pain and suffering, and she can now enjoy her time in Florida, where she now resides. “The staff and the attorneys were very nice! I was very happy with my settlement. Cheryl Moin was so nice when meeting with clients, including myself, and I am happy with the firm!” –R.K.
