22-Year-Old Brooklyn Resident Wins Swift Settlement in Bike Accident

May 8th, 2013

New York Bicycle Accident VictimL.I., a young, hard working, 22-year-old Brooklyn resident, had just finished his shift delivering pizzas on his bicycle when a driver of a car parked along the side of the street swung his door open, causing L.I. to collide into it. He flew off his bike, falling to the ground, and, ultimately, suffered a rotator cuff tear in his shoulder requiring surgery.

Aware of Hill & Moin, LLP’s excellent reputation, L.I.’s friend referred him to the firm. Upon meeting Cheryl Moin and Melisande Hill, he knew he could trust them to treat his case with the attention it required and deserved.

Both the attorneys and staff kept him apprised of the progress of his case throughout litigation, and he felt comfortable calling anytime he had questions. Though he is relieved his suit is over, he looks back at his time with the firm as extremely positive. He could not believe such a top settlement was reached without having to endure a deposition! He felt the litigation resolved as early as it possibly could and “feels great” about his award! He would definitely recommend Hill & Moin, LLP and is grateful to his friend who referred him.
