Cable Technician Injured While Attempting to Park Work Truck as Front Tire Enters Open Electrical Manhole

November 9th, 2016

A.F., a Cable Technician, was installing a cable box at a Brooklyn residence. After unloading the necessary equipment, A.F. was attempting to park his previously double-parked work vehicle, when the vehicle’s front tire entered an open electrical manhole. A.F.’s vehicle lunged forward, and he suffered injuries as a result of the quick jerking motion of his work truck.

After a friend and previous Hill & Moin client referred A.F. to our office, the attorneys met with A.F. and discuss his case. With the combined expert experience of the managing partners, Melisande Hill & Cheryl Eisberg Moin, A.F. was presented with a substantial settlement to compensate him for the pain and suffering he endured during and after his accident.

A.F. says: “Hill & Moin was excellent! All of the staff was absolutely wonderful. From day one, I walked in and never had a problem. I already have, and will continue to recommend Hill & Moin to anyone I know who has suffered from an accident. Thankfully, now I can get caught up on bills, and continue taking care of my kids.”
