Client will return to Dominican Republic to Retire on Settlement for Sidewalk Trip and Fall
March 19th, 2013
M. P., a mother of five from the DR, was helping a friend get to an office for help with her immigration status when she tripped and fell on a defective sidewalk, fracturing her ankle. Before her accident, P had always been healthy and enjoyed cooking and shopping, but now she was hobbled by the fracture and wasn’t able to enjoy many of the things that she loved.
However, thanks to the $250.000 settlement that Hill & Moin obtained for her, M. P. will be able to take life a bit easier as she retires and returns to the DR. M. P. says that her case was handled by lawyers and staff who treated her like family, and she hopes that our office doesn’t change a thing in how it handles cases like hers.
