EMT Awarded Big Settlement in Motor Vehicle Accident Involving Ambulance

May 7th, 2013

T.S., a 36-year-old EMT of more than 20 years, was driving an ambulance with an injured passenger to the hospital when it was struck in the passenger side by a vehicle that failed to yield to its lights and sirens. T.S. injured her back and fractured her finger on her left hand, causing her to be out of work for several months thereafter.

Following her mother-in-law’s recommendation, who was a previous client of the firm, T.S. met with Hill & Moin, LLP.  She recalls “feeling really good” after her first meeting with Melisande Hill and Cheryl Eisberg Moin, and just knew she had found the right firm to handle her case.

She found the communication with both the attorneys and the staff made her “very aware of the stages of [her] case.” She was thankful for the extensive preparation provided to her by counsel leading up to her deposition, which helped her to feel comfortable and at ease while being questioned.

Most importantly, she knew she could rely on the attorneys to get her the settlement she deserved. She is thrilled with the outcome of her case and has already recommended Hill & Moin, due to, in her words, “the awesome experience” she had with the firm!
