Fall Over a Curb Resulted In $140,000 Settlement Agreement

March 28th, 2018

R.R is a retired Russian-speaking bookkeeper who enjoyed spending her winters on the beaches of Florida. Upon arrival back to New York in Spring of 2015, she went for an annual car check-up at her dealership,  and ended up tripping and falling over a curb inside the service area. At the hospital, it was confirmed that she fractured her left ankle. In agony, R.R started looking for the firm that would litigate her matter best. One of R.R’s friends recommended she request a consultation with the attorneys of Hill & Moin, LLP.

The first meeting with Hill & Moin, LLP went smoothly because R.R met with a Russian-speaking staff member to help translate. The attorneys and staff left such a good impression that R.R felt assured that retaining them was the right decision for her case. Over the next few years, Hill & Moin litigated the case to a very successful conclusion. When her attorneys called R.R to inform her about the $140,000 settlement, she said that she was very grateful to the Hill & Moin legal team for helping her recover after the incident.
