Hill & Moin LLP obtained substantial compensation for a shopper injured by faulty snow-clearing efforts.
J. Morales fell during a January blizzard in Chinatown while shopping for shoes for his young son, who was with him.
Mr. Morales, 39 at the time, tripped over a pile of snow on the sidewalk that storeowners had created while trying to make a clearing. The fall fractured his right ankle, which required surgery. Mr. Morales met with the attorneys at Hill & Moin LLP and was convinced of the firm’s ability to assess and protect his legal rights. The firm investigated Mr. Morales’ fall, found wrongdoing, and brought suit on the client’s behalf. They obtained a six-figure settlement for Mr. Morales, who is ecstatic about how his case was handled and the outcome. He praised the firm on his most recent visit to the office – “You are the best!”
