Russian Painter Falls From Ladder And Receives Settlement Greater Than Half Million Dollars

December 23rd, 2016

In the summer of 2014, Mr. R was seriously injured while painting and doing maintenance work at a New York summer camp. While painting the roof of a camp building, Mr. R fell from an unsafe ladder and suffered multiple injuries, including a fractured vertebrae and medial meniscal tears to his right and left knees, which later required surgeries. Mr. R found his way to the law firm of Hill & Moin and was extremely lucky that he did.

Upon receiving a settlement of more than $500,000, Mr. R stated that “the staff at Hill & Moin took great care of me.” Mr. R further went on to say that “the attorneys worked very hard on my case and moved very quickly to reach an outstanding settlement in my favor.”  The firm was also able to explain the complicated Workers’ Compensation issue in simple terms. At the conclusion of his case, Mr. R stated that he would happily refer Hill & Moin to anyone injured in a similar construction accident, and expressed his confidence that Hill & Moin “will keep up this high level of work for their clients.” Mr. R “would not change one thing” about his time working with Hill and Moin and is beyond thankful for everything that Sandy Hill and Cheryl Moin did for him.
