On the afternoon of Halloween 2007, Alex Levine, then a sophomore psychology major at New York University, was struck by a motor vehicle as he was leaving class. Alex was carefully crossing a street near Washington Square Park, carrying his school books, when a driver who was not paying attention to the road, ran into him and knocked him to the ground. A chiropractor’s malpractice injured her, and Hill & Moin LLP got her the compensation she deserved.
D.E., from Bronx, NY, was only in her mid-20s when she was diagnosed with a herniated disc in her back. In June 2004, she went to a chiropractor because of the pain. Three days of the chiropractor’s treatment put her in an operating room for emergency surgery and caused difficulty urinating that lasted for years. She still has back pain.
But, thanks to Hill & Moin LLP, D.E. also has compensation for her injuries in the amount of $750,000. The firm achieved this high six-figure settlement for her through hard work. D.E. didn’t mind the wait: “It’s all worth it in the end,” she said.
