St. Lucian Man Falls from Scaffold after Not Being Provided Safety Equipment, While Working on a Williamsburg, Brooklyn Construction Project

April 17th, 2017

A.E., a middle-aged St. Lucian man, was working on a 3-story building construction project in Williamsburg, Brooklyn. A.E was screwing sheet rock into the walls, when one of the pieces of sheet rock began to move ultimately causing him to fall. Since he did not have a safety harness he fell to the ground, and fractured his right arm.

A.E. researched personal injury firms online and was impressed with the experience Hill & Moin had in construction injury cases. A.E. knew that construction accident cases could be very complicated and that he needed top notch representation against the insurance company lawyers. He was very pleased with the legal work that led to his $225,000 settlement.

When discussing his experience with Hill & Moin, A.E. stated: “My experience was a good one. I always felt comfortable with the staff. They were always willing to answer my questions, and if they weren’t sure what the answer was, they would look into it and get back to me right away. I would absolutely recommend that anyone who has suffered a fall from a scaffold speak to Hill & Moin.”
