D.J., a 48 year old father was devastated when his son was hit by a negligent driver who sped by an ice cream truck where children were congregating. “The ice cream truck comes by every day and my son was its best customer. I always expected passing cars to act with caution around it,” D.J. said. The child suffered a broken leg.

A student was struck by a car on campus, so Hill & Moin LLP taught the negligent driver a lesson in justice.

On the afternoon of Halloween 2007, Alex Levine, then a sophomore psychology major at New York University, was struck by a motor vehicle as he was leaving class. Alex was carefully crossing a street near Washington Square Park, carrying his school books, when a driver who was not paying attention to the road, ran into him and knocked him to the ground. The driver was from out of town and was only in the area to drop off friends for the West Village Halloween festivities taking place that night.
