St. Lucian Man Falls from Scaffold after Not Being Provided Safety Equipment, While Working on a Williamsburg, Brooklyn Construction Project

A.E., a middle-aged St. Lucian man, was working on a 3-story building construction project in Williamsburg, Brooklyn. A.E was screwing sheet rock into the walls, when one of the pieces of sheet rock began to move ultimately causing him to fall. Since he did not have a safety harness he fell to the ground, and fractured his right arm.

Uzbekistani Construction worker receives $975,000 settlement after falling from scaffold.

On a rainy day of the summer of 2012, a 44 year old Uzbekistani construction worker was trying to board some windows and not knowing that the scaffold was wet, he slipped and fell backwards. Bronx Erb’s Palsy Victim Receives Excellent Settlement

Nickola L. anxiously awaited the birth of her son, Jeffrey R. at Bronx Lebanon Hospital. During delivery, as Nickola was pushing, she was informed that Jeffrey’s shoulder had become stuck. Brooklyn Resident And Ukraine Native Receives Substantial Settlement Following Trip and Fall On A Defective Brooklyn Sidewalk

While walking to church with her husband, G.L., a native of the Ukraine, was caused to trip and fall due to a defective condition on a Brooklyn sidewalk. Despite her initial attempt to continue walking with her husband, G.L. had no choice but to visit the emergency room at Beth Israel Hospital. At the hospital, it was determined that G.L. suffered a fracture to her left wrist and surgery would be required.

Senior Trips and Falls on Raised Cellar Door En Route Home from Coney Island Synagogue and Receives Substantial Settlement

R.S., an older religious Jewish man, suffered a trip and fall in the Coney Island portion of Brooklyn on his way to his home. R.S. was making his way home from the synagogue, when he tripped and fell over a raised cellar door. His left foot became caught on the raised edge of the cellar door and he immediately fell onto his knees, resulting in a torn meniscus in his right knee.

Bronx Resident Who Slipped and Fell On Ice Outside New York City Housing Authority Building Received $250,000 Settlement

On a cold winter day in December, J.H. was walking home from work when she slipped and fell on an icy, defective sidewalk, near her New York City Housing Authority apartment building. Due to the combination of the snow and defective condition, J.H. fell to the ground and sustained significant injures. J.H. fractured her shoulder.
