Russian Painter Falls From Ladder And Receives Settlement Greater Than Half Million Dollars

In the summer of 2014, Mr. R was seriously injured while painting and doing maintenance work at a New York summer camp. While painting the roof of a camp building, Mr. R fell from an unsafe ladder and suffered multiple injuries, including a fractured vertebrae and medial meniscal tears to his right and left knees, which later required surgeries. Mr. R found his way to the law firm of Hill & Moin and was extremely lucky that he did.

Cable Technician Injured While Attempting to Park Work Truck as Front Tire Enters Open Electrical Manhole

A.F., a Cable Technician, was installing a cable box at a Brooklyn residence. After unloading the necessary equipment, A.F. was attempting to park his previously double-parked work vehicle, when the vehicle’s front tire entered an open electrical manhole. A.F.’s vehicle lunged forward, and he suffered injuries as a result of the quick jerking motion of his work truck.

E. Smart, suffered a fracture of the right shoulder blade while erecting a scaffold in an underground parking lot at a construction site in Bronx, NY. As Mr. Smart was working, a piece of concrete column debris, which was being demolished from above ground, fell onto his right shoulder, resulting in, not only a fracture, but also the need for surgery.
