On a cool and sunny Sunday morning, K.C. was walking on E 96th Street in Manhattan. She patiently waited for the crosswalk signal light to change to continue walking up. When it changed in her favor, she started walking up to 3rd Avenue. As she was walking in the crosswalk, she was struck by a vehicle making a left turn.
