Client will return to Dominican Republic to Retire on Settlement for Sidewalk Trip and Fall

P., a mother of five from the DR, was helping a friend get to an office for help with her immigration status when she tripped and fell on a defective sidewalk, fracturing her ankle.  Before her accident, P had always been healthy and enjoyed cooking and shopping, but now she was hobbled by the fracture and wasn’t able to enjoy many of the things that she loved.

New York Martial Arts Accident A 49-year-old attorney, skilled in martial arts, was participating in a sparring match when he was caused to fall into a stationary bike that was placed too close to the sparring area. He suffered serious injury, rupturing his retina and cornea, and, ultimately, losing eyesight in his right eye.

Bronx Teen Delighted with Large Settlement for Stairwell Fall

Bronx Stairway Accident VictimYankiry R., a fun and outgoing16-year-old high school student, was injured when she slipped and fell in the stairwell of her Bronx apartment building.   She had to have surgery for a torn ACL.  Although at times Yankiry’s injury made her a bit sad and withdrawn, the help and support that she received from Hill & Moin helped lifted her spirits.

Yankiry says that she “loved” the people at our firm, who “treated [her] like family” and got to know her and her family well.  In the end, Hill & Moin negotiated a settlement that left the entire family delighted.  Yankiry and her parents say that “everything was perfect” at Hill & Moin, and they wouldn’t change a thing at our office.
