M.G., an elderly Queens resident, was injured after tripping and falling on a defective sidewalk in Bayside, Queens. M.G. was on his way home from picking up dry cleaning, and while walking made contact with the broken edge of a sidewalk, causing him to fall forward. While walking to church with her husband, G.L., a native of the Ukraine, was caused to trip and fall due to a defective condition on a Brooklyn sidewalk. Despite her initial attempt to continue walking with her husband, G.L. had no choice but to visit the emergency room at Beth Israel Hospital. At the hospital, it was determined that G.L. suffered a fracture to her left wrist and surgery would be required.

Barber Receives Hard Fought Settlement Following Slip and Fall Accident
