Bronx Teen Delighted with Large Settlement for Stairwell Fall

Yankiry R., a fun and outgoing16-year-old high school student, was injured when she slipped and fell in the stairwell of her Bronx apartment building. She had to have surgery for a torn ACL. Although at times Yankiry’s injury made her a bit sad and withdrawn, the help and support that she received from Hill & Moin helped lifted her spirits.
Yankiry says that she “loved” the people at our firm, who “treated [her] like family” and got to know her and her family well. In the end, Hill & Moin negotiated a settlement that left the entire family delighted. Yankiry and her parents say that “everything was perfect” at Hill & Moin, and they wouldn’t change a thing at our office.
