75 Year Old Woman Receives $285,000 Settlement After Sustaining Hip Injury While Walking Home From Day Care Near Her Brooklyn Residence

D.M., a 75 year old mother and grandmother, was injured on her walk home from day care, near her home in Brooklyn, when she tripped and fell on a defective sidewalk.  As a result of her trip and fall, D.M. fractured her right hip, an injury that later required surgery.

Ms. Fedrick, a long time Field Parole Officer for the New York State Department of Corrections and a loving wife, mother and grandmother, was injured in an automobile accident when her car was struck by another vehicle.
