School Bus Driver Falls Down Broken Stairs at Bus Depot and Wins $650,000 Settlement

M.J., a School Bus Driver living in the Westchester, was injured while exiting her bus depot hub to begin work for the day. As M.J. took a step down an exterior staircase, one of the steps broke, causing her to fall all the way down the remaining steps. The fall resulted in several injuries most notably a fracture to the leg requiring surgery with instrumentation.

$750,000 Settlement for a NY Construction Worker

Hill & Moin, LLP negotiated a $750,000 Settlement for a 47 year old New York construction worker who was employed by a waterproofing company. The injury victim, who constructs scaffolds, fell down a defective stairway while on the job in Manhattan and underwent surgery for a broken leg. (more…)
