Y.G. was on his way to pick up his young children from camp one day and was traveling some distance from Brooklyn to Upstate New York. He was obeying all traffic laws, driving relatively with no traffic in his way when he was hit by another vehicle exiting a gas station. In this head-on collision, Y.G. injured his left hand and wrist. The injuries required surgery and physical therapy and unfortunately, Y.G suffers discomfort to this very day because of the injuries. In fact, for Y.G., typing at the computer is harder now and he cannot attend the gym and do exercise boxing and body building anymore.

Citi Bike Cyclist Struck By Parking Cab Rides Off With Great Settlement

On a nice and cool summer day, Mr. Amengual-Terrasa had some time left to kill before reporting to work at NYU Langone Medical School. He decided to take a Citi Bike for a casual ride. While in the bike lane, a cab attempting to park struck the bicyclist. Upon realizing this, the cab driver attempted to drive off and struck two more pedestrians before hitting a wall. As a result of this accident, Mr. Amengual-Terrasa suffered a fractured heel on his left foot. He was no longer able to partake in his favorite activities including, of course, bike riding. (more…)

Truck Off-Loader Receives Astounding $1.25 million Settlement After Driver Drops Box and Crushes His Right Hand

On a cool and nice summer night, Mr. Garnett, an unloader of 6 years, was on the dock unloading trucks and assisting the employer of a seafood merchant with lifting boxes and organizing inventory. He was lifting a heavy box when the driver’s phone began to ring. Unable to resist answering the call, the driver dropped the box which crushed Mr. Garnett’s right hand. Grandfather Coming home to his family trips and falls over defective sidewalk awarded $315,000 for foot and shoulder injuries.

Finding parking is never easy after a long day and it was not any different for Mr.Y on one September evening.
