Attorney gets Hit by a Car and Runs Away with a $500,000 Settlement

E.K. is a self-employed matrimonial attorney and mother of two. E.K. was crossing the street to get a magazine. When the light changed, she stepped into the cross walk. Suddenly, she saw a green cab approaching her. She froze, expecting the car to stop since she had the right of way. However, E.K. heard no horn, no brakes, and saw no brake lights. The middle of the driver’s front bumper slammed into E.K.’s knee, throwing her straight back onto the concrete. She described the sensation as being mowed down by a truck. She said it was so frightening. The impact threw E.K. straight back towards the street where her head hit the pavement. E.K. tried to stand up but couldn’t move until EMS arrived. E.K. was hurt and needed some serious help.

“Worker Falls into Collapsed Floor, Lands on $975,000 Settlement”

D.J. is a loving father who works as a manager in urban property. While performing his daily tasks, and walking through the facility, he suddenly felt the floor collapse from under his legs. D.J. was falling through the floor. However, he was able to stop himself from falling all the way through by catching the unbroken floor. J.D. was only able to be rescued once he called for a co-worker to pull him back onto solid ground. J.D. was taken from the scene by ambulance to a local hospital.

After a long and hard day at work, G.C. was on her way home for a good night’s sleep. As she was walking in Queens, she tripped and fell and due to an uneven pavement. On the day of the accident, the weather was nice so C.H. decided to go outside and do some shopping in the morning. C.H. walked up the street and waited for the pedestrian walk signal after reaching an intersection that would permit her to cross the street and continue on her way. When the signal changed, C.H. made sure to look both ways before proceeding to cross the street. All of a sudden, a car that was supposed to be waiting at the red light was driving towards her at a high speed. With no signs of it slowing down, C.H. attempted to step back but unfortunately, she did not have enough time to move out of the way.

Construction Laborer Obtains Monetary Settlement from Construction Accident Injury
