Barber Receives Hard Fought Settlement Following Slip and Fall Accident

S.B, an Uzbekistan native, slipped and fell on ice while walking to work. A few minutes later, a man came up to him and helped to call ambulance. At the hospital he found that he had a severe bone fracture which required an immediate surgery. After the surgery, he spent 23 days at the rehabilitation center. 80 Year Old Reaches Excellent Settlement After Being Struck by Falling Supermarket Stock Carts

I.G., an 80 year old man, was taking his usual weekly walk to a nearby supermarket. Along the way, he came to an area, just outside the parking lot, where supermarket stock carts were being kept, and haphazardly chained to a street sign, with a small cement divider in front of some of them. As he attempted to walk passed these carts, and into the parking lot, one of the carts came down on his left side. The force of the impact on I.G. caused him to fall to the ground, and suffer serious injuries.

Despite taking all necessary precautions prior to crossing the street, Carla was the victim of a driver who was not paying proper attention. As a result of this driver’s negligence, Carla sustained serious personal injuries, including a displaced fracture of her left lateral tibial plateau and a nondisplaced lateral tibial condyle fracture, leaving her with significant disabilities.
