70-year-old Bolivian Man Receives Substantial Settlement for Hit-and-Run Accident That Turned His Life Upside-down

While on his way to the bank, D.G. a 70-year-old Bolivian man was a victim of a hit and run accident in Brooklyn. The impact caused D.G. to suffer from a broken tibia, a dislocated shoulder, and pain in his back and hands. D.G. had to under surgery and physical therapy and remained in a state of physical pain throughout his legal case. D.G. says that this accident turned his entire life upside-down. His painful medical condition kept him confined to bed for an extended period.

Brooklyn Resident Recovers Six-figure Settlement After Fall at Private Residence

A 45-year-old father of three, “R.T.,” was a guest at a family dinner when he slipped on a napkin holder carelessly left at the top of a flight of stairs leading to the basement, falling all the way down them. R.T.’s fall resulted in fractures to his humerus, shoulder, elbow, and ribs.

Early one winter morning, O.K., a 67-year-old Uzbekistani woman, was on her way to work. O.K. slipped on a mixture of ice and snow that had been cleared from the front entrance of a business and shoveled into her path on the sidewalk.   A bystander helped O.K. up after her fall, and although she still made it to work, she had to leave for the ER shortly after arriving due to the severe pain in her right arm and shoulder.

Bellman Receives $450,000 Settlement after Falling at Work

C.H a 53 year old hotel bellman injured his shoulder when his leg got caught in a hole in the luggage storage room undergoing renovations. $775,000 Settlement For Injuries Sustained In a Bus Collision

New York City Social Worker Who Slips and Falls on Freshly Waxed Office Floor, Injuring Her Right Knee and Shoulder, Receives $235,000 Settlement for Pain and Suffering

I.H., a New York City Social Worker, was injured on the job when walking from her cubicle to the reception area of her office to clock out for the day. I.H. was walking down an interior hallway that was waxed just before she entered it, causing her to slip and fall. There were no signs or cones placed to alert I.H. that the floor conditions were hazardous. She attempted to get herself up off the floor, but again slipped on the freshly waxed floor. After falling, I.H. saw a white jelly-like substance on the floor and on her clothes.
