Uzbekistani Construction worker receives $975,000 settlement after falling from scaffold.

On a rainy day of the summer of 2012, a 44 year old Uzbekistani construction worker was trying to board some windows and not knowing that the scaffold was wet, he slipped and fell backwards. Russian Painter Falls From Ladder And Receives Settlement Greater Than Half Million Dollars

In the summer of 2014, Mr. R was seriously injured while painting and doing maintenance work at a New York summer camp. While painting the roof of a camp building, Mr. R fell from an unsafe ladder and suffered multiple injuries, including a fractured vertebrae and medial meniscal tears to his right and left knees, which later required surgeries. Cable Technician Injured While Attempting to Park Work Truck as Front Tire Enters Open Electrical Manhole

A.F., a Cable Technician, was installing a cable box at a Brooklyn residence. After unloading the necessary equipment, A.F. was attempting to park his previously double-parked work vehicle, when the vehicle’s front tire entered an open electrical manhole. A.F.’s vehicle lunged forward, and he suffered injuries as a result of the quick jerking motion of his work truck.

E. Smart, suffered a fracture of the right shoulder blade while erecting a scaffold in an underground parking lot at a construction site in Bronx, NY. As Mr. Smart was working, a piece of concrete column debris, which was being demolished from above ground, fell onto his right shoulder, resulting in, not only a fracture, but also the need for surgery.
