P., a mother of five from the DR, was helping a friend get to an office for help with her immigration status when she tripped and fell on a defective sidewalk, fracturing her ankle.  Before her accident, P had always been healthy and enjoyed cooking and shopping, but now she was hobbled by the fracture and wasn’t able to enjoy many of the things that she loved.

102 Year-Old Russian Woman Who Tripped and Fell on Construction Hazard Outside Assisted Living Facility Awarded Six Figures
