76 Year Old Russian Woman Injured During Blackout Caused by Storm at Camp for World War II Survivors in Upstate New York

R.A., a 76 year old Russian woman, and World War II survivor, was spending time at Berkshire Hills Emanuel Camp/Adult Vacation Center. A large storm was approaching, and as common practice for the camp, they shut down all electricity. The camp would usually provide patrons with candles, but on this night did not. R.A. awoke from her sleep to use the restroom, and in the darkness, tripped and fell over a rug. As a result of her trip and fall on the bathroom rug, R.A. suffered a fracture of the left wrist.

Bronx Resident Receives Significant Settlement By Her Second Attorneys After Trip and Fall On Uneven Sidewalk Covered By Leaves

One morning, MH was walking along her neighborhood sidewalk in route to the bank. The sidewalk in front of MH’s neighbor’s home was covered in leaves, which made it difficult to identify that the sidewalk was uneven. Trip and Fall on Defective Sidewalk In The Bronx Results in $174,000 Settlement For Bronx Resident

While walking home from a friend’s house, GV, a 22 year old Bronx resident, was taken by surprise when a water filled pot hole was directly in his walking path. As he walked along the sidewalk GV unexpectedly stepped into this hole, which caused him to trip and fall to the ground. As a result of his trip and fall, GV tore his ACL, an injury that later required surgery.
