EMT Awarded Big Settlement in Motor Vehicle Accident Involving Ambulance

T.S., a 36-year-old EMT of more than 20 years, was driving an ambulance with an injured passenger to the hospital when it was struck in the passenger side by a vehicle that failed to yield to its lights and sirens. T.S. injured her back and fractured her finger on her left hand, causing her to be out of work for several months thereafter.

Prompt Settlement Reached for Pedestrian Struck While Crossing Street in Brooklyn

A_gibbs_rAdrian Gibbs, a 33-year-old Brooklyn resident, was crossing the street with his 3-year-old daughter when he was hit by a vehicle making a left turn. Luckily, his daughter did not have major injuries but he suffered disc herniations in his upper back and internal derangement of his left knee, which required surgery.
