Longtime Window Cleaner and Ecuadorian Mother Receives $350,000 Settlement After Suffering Injuries and Fractured Patella From Trip and Fall by Uneven Pavement

After a long and hard day at work, G.C. was on her way home for a good night’s sleep. As she was walking in Queens, she tripped and fell and due to an uneven pavement. The slip and fall resulted in G.C. sustaining right thigh and knee injuries. Sadly, she was unable to return to work and continue her ESOL classes.

Mother of Two and Longtime NYPD 911 Operator of 27 years Receives $325,000 Settlement For Injuries After Slip and Fall on Waxed Floor

After completing her long daily shift as a police communications technician, K. Riley was on her way home to see her two children. She was exiting out of the One Police Plaza building when she slipped and fell on a newly waxed floor. There were no warning cones or signs posted in the area. The slip and fall resulted in K. Riley sustaining neck, back, and right shoulder injuries. She was no longer able to participate in hiking and biking, her long favored hobbies. (more…)

Dental Assistant Slips and Falls into a Successful $100,000 Settlement

Janet L., a 49-year-old dental assistant, was walking back from the store in heavy NY rain. Suddenly, she described a sensation of ‘floating’ has her feet lifted out from underneath her. Janet L., her umbrella, and deli sandwich in a bag, all crashed onto the hard-concrete sidewalk. Janet L. had tripped and fallen on a subpar sidewalk patch resulting in her fracturing her left patella. (more…)

While S.B., a Russian woman who worked as a personal home cleaner, was walking to a nearby store, she decided to take a short cut through the exterior Naples Terrace Staircase. As she attempted to walk down the dimly lit unsafe exterior staircase, she tripped and fell down the stairs which directly resulted in her badly twisting and injuring her left ankle.

Public School Cafeteria Worker Awarded $350,000 For Wrist Injury After Fall Down Stairs Caused by Protruding Stairwell Railing

After completing his daily shift as a public-school cafeteria worker, D.A. took some of the leftover food from his job to his friend’s home. On the night of D.A.’s accident he had stopped by his friend’s home in an apartment building to pick up his Tupperware. Unfortunately, D.A.’s friend was not home. On D.A.’s way down the apartment building stairs from his friend’s home the left jacket sleeve cuff on D.A.’s arm caught onto a protruding stairwell railing which caused D.A. to lose his balance and fall down the stairs. Because of the fall down the stairs D.A. injured his right wrist.
