N.M was walking down Brighton Beach Avenue on her way from a pharmacy from which she picked up medication for her patient when, she tripped and fell due to a defective sidewalk. N.M fractured her wrist. Due to her injury, N.M, had a hard time cooking, dressing, and even brushing her teeth.

Hill & Moin fights and protects the rights of a little girl injured while riding her scooter on a poorly maintained sidewalk in Brooklyn

Little did she know that their time under the sun would take a drastic turn when her daughter fell victim to a poorly maintained sidewalk. On this summer afternoon, A.R.’s young daughter along with her cousins, were playing on the sidewalk with their scooters when suddenly one of the wheels of her scooter was stuck between a mis-leveled sidewalk. Israeli Citizen Seeks the Help of Hill & Moin After Fracturing Her Ankle at a Grocery Store Parking Lot During a Trip to the U.S.

L.G. was completely unaware of how a visit to the U.S. from her home-country of Israel would affect her life. After landing in New York and re-uniting with a child-hood friend, L.G. accompanied her friend to the grocery store on a cold, dry winter morning. As L.G. crossed the parking lot towards the store, she felt her left foot slip and twist from underneath her causing her to fall and land on her back, her ankle stinging with pain. At the sight of this, her long-time friend rushed L.G. to the emergency room, where it was discovered that she had suffered a fracture from stepping on the ice that had formed and camouflaged a pothole.

Jogger Receives Settlement After Being Struck By Vehicle

Monday, January 27th, 2020

S.E. laced up her shoes, put her jogging gear on and went for her normal daily jog in Brooklyn. She was jogging down the street and saw that the light was in her favor to cross. Upon crossing on the crosswalk, S.E. was struck by a vehicle and knocked unconscious as a result. Due to this accident, S.E. suffered a fractured right arm and right hip as well as lacerations to her left ear. She would no longer be able to do her daily jogs and exercise as she had once loved.

Attorney gets Hit by a Car and Runs Away with a $500,000 Settlement

When the light changed, she stepped into the cross walk. Suddenly, she saw a green cab approaching her. She froze, expecting the car to stop since she had the right of way. However, E.K. heard no horn, no brakes, and saw no brake lights. The middle of the driver’s front bumper slammed into E.K.’s knee, throwing her straight back onto the concrete.
