Along the way, he came to an area, just outside the parking lot, where supermarket stock carts were being kept, and haphazardly chained to a street sign, with a small cement divider in front of some of them. As he attempted to walk passed these carts, and into the parking lot, one of the carts came down on his left side. The force of the impact on I.G. caused him to fall to the ground, and suffer serious injuries.

Pedestrian Receives Larger Than Expected Settlement After Being Struck By Motor Vehicle

While walking to work one morning at Brookdale Hospital, Carla, a pediatrician’s assistant, was unexpectedly struck by a motor vehicle. Despite taking all necessary precautions prior to crossing the street, Carla was the victim of a driver who was not paying proper attention.  As a result of this driver’s negligence, Carla sustained serious personal injuries, including a displaced fracture of her left lateral tibial plateau and a nondisplaced lateral tibial condyle fracture, leaving her with significant disabilities.

Cable Technician Injured While Attempting to Park Work Truck as Front Tire Enters Open Electrical Manhole

A.F., a Cable Technician, was installing a cable box at a Brooklyn residence. After unloading the necessary equipment, A.F. was attempting to park his previously double-parked work vehicle, when the vehicle’s front tire entered an open electrical manhole. A.F.’s vehicle lunged forward, and he suffered injuries as a result of the quick jerking motion of his work truck.

Self-Employed Syrian Man Injured in Queens Auto Accident Receives Six Figure Settlement for Future Pain and Suffering

D.L., a Syrian man in his 40’s, was driving along Hillside Avenue in Queens, turning onto 180th Street, when he was rear-ended by a 24 foot truck. D.L. was hit by the truck twice, once on his driver’s side front fender and the other to the rear panel. As a result of the auto accident, D.L.’s vehicle was totaled, and the injuries he suffered required three operations.
