Ms. Lois Skolnick is a painter and artist who was out for lunch in Manhattan when she suffered an accident that would drastically change her daily life. During a rainy day, Ms. Skolnick slipped on a metal portion of a sidewalk she was walking on and landed on her wrist resulting in several bone fractures and torn ligaments.

Doctor Receives $500,000 Settlement After Van Struck Her Near Mid-Town Tunnel

A radiology fellow at NYU Hospital on her way to work was struck by a van that had just exited the Queens Mid-Town Tunnel. Instead of helping patients at NYU, she was transported by ambulance to Bellevue Hospital where she was treated for facial fractures, as well as an injury to her wrist.

Mexican Laborer Falls Through Stairs at Construction Site – Hill & Moin Wins $415,000 Settlement!

A.Garcia, a 41-year-old, laborer from Mexico, was doing construction on his job site when he fell through a defective temporary staircase. He unfortunately suffered serious wrist and back injuries and was unable to return to work.
