$500,000 Settlement Reached for a Woman Who Fell Down the Stairs and Twisted Her Ankle

While S.B., a Russian woman who worked as a personal home cleaner, was walking to a nearby store, she decided to take a short cut through the Naples Terrace Staircase. As she attempted to walk down the dimly lit exterior staircase, she tripped and fell down the stairs which directly resulted in her badly twisting and injuring her left ankle.

Construction Worker Injured When Front Two Legs of Ladder Collapse, Receives $500,000 Compensation

Papaleo, a laborer who was working on a large renovation project, turning an old school into an apartment building, was injured when the front two legs of the A-frame ladder he was using collapsed with him on it. Though it was a large project, when Papaleo arrived to the jobsite, there were a limited number of ladders available to him. He took the last one and set it up to start working. Everything seemed to be in decent working order, until the ladder collapsed from under him because it was defective. Papaleo sustained injuries to his left shoulder as a result of the fall.

Senior Injured At Gym Wins $350,000 Settlement for Elbow Fracture

On the day of her accident, Susan H. was walking through the gym when she tripped because of a pile of wires connected to treadmills near a row of stationary bikes that were blocking her walkway. As Susan H. approached the pile of wires, she saw them and attempted to step over them. Unfortunately, because they were piled so high and so haphazardly, her foot became tangled in them causing her to fall to the ground. She suffered a fractured elbow.

Undocumented Construction Worker Who Fell Off Scaffold Receives Life-Altering $1 Million Settlement

O.Q., an Undocumented construction worker from Mexico, was working at a construction site in Staten Island. O.Q. was instructed by his employer to complete work on top of an improperly balanced scaffold without any safety equipment. O.Q. followed instructions and while drilling, the scaffold became wobbly and he fell to the ground. He sustained head injuries and multiple fractures.

Yeshiva Research Assistant Struck by Car Thanks Hill & Moin for an Excellent Settlement

On his way back home from synagogue, S.W, a thirty-one-year-old research assistant at a rabbinical school, was hit by a car when crossing a street with his son. Due to the impact, S.W lost consciousness for a short period of time.
