Russian Painter Falls From Ladder And Receives Settlement Greater Than Half Million Dollars

In the summer of 2014, Mr. R was seriously injured while painting and doing maintenance work at a New York summer camp. As N.B. waited on line to pay the cashier, she was suddenly struck by a clothing rack pushed by a store employee. Though N.B. attempted to move out of the way of the rack, the rack was moving so quickly that her foot was clipped by the wheel of the rack, causing her to fall onto her right side. N.B. suffered a broken hip.

80 Year Old Reaches Excellent Settlement After Being Struck by Falling Supermarket Stock Carts

I.G., an 80 year old man, was taking his usual weekly walk to a nearby supermarket. Along the way, he came to an area, just outside the parking lot, where supermarket stock carts were being kept, and haphazardly chained to a street sign, with a small cement divider in front of some of them. As he attempted to walk passed these carts, and into the parking lot, one of the carts came down on his left side. The force of the impact on I.G. caused him to fall to the ground, and suffer serious injuries.
