M.R., a native of the Dominican Republic, was walking across a Bronx intersection when she was struck by a livery cab. The livery cab had a red light, but continued on anyway, striking the client as she crossed the intersection.

Russian Painter Falls From Ladder And Receives Settlement Greater Than Half Million Dollars

In the summer of 2014, Mr. R was seriously injured while painting and doing maintenance work at a New York summer camp. While painting the roof of a camp building, Mr. R fell from an unsafe ladder and suffered multiple injuries, including a fractured vertebrae and medial meniscal tears to his right and left knees, which later required surgeries. Mr. R found his way to the law firm of Hill & Moin and was extremely lucky that he did.

Union Worker is Grateful for Settlement After Falling From Scaffold

Decordova Foreman, a 65 year old native of Jamaica and proud Union Mason tender, was injured after falling from a 6 foot scaffold while assisting a bricklayer on a new construction site. As a result of his fall, Mr. Foreman suffered injuries to his lower back, wrist, shoulder and knee. He had not been supplied with any safety or protective equipment.

Ms. Fedrick, a long time Field Parole Officer for the New York State Department of Corrections and a loving wife, mother and grandmother, was injured in an automobile accident when her car was struck by another vehicle. As a result of the accident, Ms. Fedrick needed right knee surgery. Ms. Fedrick underwent physical therapy as a result of her injuries, as well as pain management treatment for a herniated disc in her lower spine region.

R. Leggett, a 35 year old City Sanitation worker was going about his usual work day when a large defect on the NYC Department of Sanitation premises caused him to fall, leading to a shoulder injury and several disc herniations. Mr. Leggett even required surgery due to this fall.
